Ministry in 2012

We are all members of the body of Christ, called to use our talents, energy, time and resources to build up God’s people and be part of God’s mission in the world. It is amazing that God takes our humble efforts and uses them for his glory. Even the little things that perhaps go unseen are seen by God and count in his kingdom.

If you are a member of All Saints church, we’d love you to be part of what we are doing together. You may have received a paper copy of the 2012 ‘ministry form’ at church, or you can get a PDF here to fill out and return by December 31 2011. Alternatively, you can fill the form out and submit it online. Please prayerfully consider your ministry at church, and commit yourself to wholeheartedly serving God in 2012.

Interview with Tim Mildenhall

Recently it was All Saints’ Day, and the church took up a special collection to send to Broome Anglican Church. Sam Freney spoke to Tim about the flow-on effects from the recent mission team visit to Broome, his involvement with the People’s church, the church’s plans for the future, and some things to pray for:

Creative Kids in Ministry

So, kids: Do you love singing, cooking, acting, playing music, dancing, making movies, …?

Part of following & serving Jesus and living as a Christian involves using the gifts and talents God has given us. We can do this in worship at church and we’d like to give you the opportunity to develop your gifts and experience using them at our Family Service.

We would love you to come to the 3rd CKiM workshop on Saturday afternoon and then participate in the Family Service on Sunday 19th June where we will explore the theme of Friendship in JOY STORY!

When:

Workshop: Saturday 18th June from 2-5pm

Family Service: Sunday 19th June 9am &/or 10:45am

Where:

All Saints Anglican Church, North Epping

Who:

Kids aged 8 yrs to late teens.

Cost:

$5—includes skill tuition and afternoon tea.

Family Service

Mark Sunday 19th June in your diaries: it’s the special Family Services at All Saints’.

We’ll be exploring the theme of Friendship as we work through ‘Joy Story’. There will be creative input from many of the children throughout the service as they sing, act, play music, dance, show movies that they’ve made, cook for everyone, and more. It’s always a great time of worship as a whole community, so don’t miss out!

There’s also a great chance for the children aged 8 through to late teens to contribute to all of this creativity—see all the details here.
